Author Submission Guidelines
Instructions, word count requirements, citation standards, and manuscript submission portal for scholars.
1 Word Count & Scope Requirements
Standard Research Articles & Monographs: Strictly 1,500 to 4,000 words (excluding footnotes and bibliography).
Response Articles: 1,000 to 3,000 words, explicitly addressing an existing published monograph in Manaazil al-Afkaar.
Editorials & Book Reviews: 800 to 2,000 words.
2 Citation & Transliteration Standards
Authors must format footnotes and references in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style (Notes and Bibliography format).
Primary Arabic Sources
Provide author full name, book title, editor/edition, publisher, publication year, and volume/page numbers.
Arabic Transliteration
Adhere to standardized academic transliteration (e.g. IJMES style for Arabic terms).
3 Double-Blind Peer Review
All submitted manuscripts are subjected to rigorous double-blind peer review by qualified editorial board scholars. Submissions must be anonymized to remove any self-identifying references within the manuscript file.
